AFRIPOL and INTERPOL held the 5th Steering Committee meeting of ISPA (INTERPOL Support Programme for the African Union in relation to AFRIPOL) at INTERPOL HQ in Lyon, France on February 28th, 2024.
The meeting was an opportunity to evaluate the programme’s current achievements and strategize for its future endeavors. The discussions emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in overcoming obstacles and seizing opportunities for advancement within the programme’s framework, with the great support from the German Federal Foreign Office. Key achievements from the session included the introduction of innovative strategies, the optimization of resource distribution, and the strengthening of stakeholder interactions.
