The Executive Director headed the AFRIPOL delegation to the work of the 44th session of the Executive Council of the African Union held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on 14 and 15 February 2024.
The meeting is part of the preparation of the 37th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union, scheduled for 17 and 18 February 2024 in Addis Ababa.
The Foreign Ministers of the AU members States will discuss a number of priority issues for the continent. In this context, they will be called upon to examine the evolution of the political, economic and humanitarian situation, as well as the situation of peace and security on the continent.
