The first session of Document Fraud Training of Trainers -Advanced Level held from 28th August to 08th September 2023 in Dakar Senegal ended on a high note. The Twelve (12) days’ training workshop rendered hands practical skills to the officers from the fourteen-member state countries who participated.
The training was an advancement of a series of foundational courses conducted from year 2022 and aimed at deepening trainers’ knowledge and skills in their career path of sharpening the frontline managers in deciphering identity fraud in the quest of combating transnational organized crime, terrorism, and other forms of criminality,
Emulating the foundational courses, this training workshop too centered on transferring skills related to document verification on all documents greasing human movement and identification, spanning from residency card, passport, visa stickers.
Like the previous courses, the Document Fraud Training of Trainers–Advanced Level was as well organized jointly by AFRIPOL Center of Excellence in Forensics and the German Federal Police.
