Tunisia hosted, from Tuesday, December 5, 2023, the work of the 4th Meeting of Heads of National Liaison Offices (NLOs) of the African Police Cooperation Mechanism (AFRIPOL), for three days, at Carthage Thalasso in Gammarth, Tunis.
The three-day meeting (5-7 December) will be an opportunity for the NLOs of the African Union member countries to review the draft Rules and Regulations for the African Police Secure Communication System (AFSECOM), which will then be submitted to the AU policy organs bodies.
The meeting was attended by more than forty heads of NLOs from African Union member States, the Executive Director and experts of AFRIPOL, the Office of the Legal Council (OLC) of the African Union, who was represented by the Ag Director., Ambassador Mohamed Salem Bouhari Khalil as well as experts from INTERPOL.
