On December 9, 2024, the second phase (Module 2) of the “Trainers’ Training on Teaching Methodology” commenced in Algiers, Algeria. This seven-day in-person session, organized by AFRIPOL in collaboration with INTERPOL and German Federal Police, followed the successful completion of the first phase (Module 1), which was conducted online from November 11-20, 2024.
Together, these phases form a comprehensive training program designed to equip participants with the skills needed to deliver effective, high-quality training that meets the evolving demands of modern law enforcement. While the first phase focused on theoretical aspects, the second phase emphasizes the practical application of the theories learned. This initiative aims to enhance the capabilities of AFRIPOL’s eighty four (84) trainers who previously attended the Training of Trainers (ToT) courses on forensics and cybercrime, providing them with deeper knowledge in training methodologies and techniques.
