In accordance with its five-year strategic plan 2020-2024, which makes training a strategic priority, AFRIPOL, together with GIZ, is organizing the fourth meeting of the heads of training and capacity building Departments of the police services of the African Union Member States from 15 to 16 October 2024 in Algiers.
Senior officials and officers representing thirty-one (31) African countries are taking part in this meeting, which is attended as well by representatives of international organizations such as INTERPOL, UNODC, GFP and AUCTC.
This meeting aims to review the initiatives carried out by AFRIPOL as part of its training activities with African Union member countries, with a particular focus on strengthening coordination, cooperation and new pedagogical approaches.
